A Huge Antique French Boulangerie Dough Box/Proofing Chest With Plank Top - 19thC

Likely walnut. This primitive functional piece is much larger than a farmhouse dough box. Hinges are missing, top doesn't appear to be original to the piece, but also old. In lovely condition, presents very well. Great storage. This is almost 6' long, don't under estimate its potential as a spot for Hide and Seek.
