A Chrome & Black Vinyl Streamline Moderne Chair, Patented 1937

A fantastic example of the Streamline Moderne esthetic popularized in the 1930s, the design for this chair was patented in 1937 by prolific American inventor Milton H. Larson. Its simple seat upholstered in black vinyl is set on tubular chrome frame with rounded arms that conclude in a rocker bottom. Purchased in Los Angeles, CA, many years ago. Excellent condition; please see pics. Approx. 34" tall, 29" wide arm-to-arm, 21" seat height, 18.5" seat depth.
