This car has plenty of power , it features many power and luxury options. . . it has just 139k which is BELOW AVERAGE MILEAGE . . .driven just over 8,600 miles per year . . . (national average for miles is 12k to 15k per year) . . . mileage is verified and guaranteed via CarFax. this Mercedes Benz was was purchased in California (was a MB Certified Pre-Owned) and remained there until 2019. it appears to have been serviced by German car specialists. seems to be a good solid car . . OVERALL IT'S A GOOD SOLID CAR . . .the brakes feel fine . . .motor runs fine . . . starts quickly and runs at the proper temperature. . no odd sounds, the suspension feels very nice, transmission shifts fine.

If you take a page out of my "guide to owning an older luxury vehicle" . . . chapter 1 . . .page 1 is that you need to ignore MOST of the various warning lights and messages that pop up . . . obviously there are ones that you NEED to watch . . .such as the temperature gauge, oil light, fuel gauge, etc there are messages that come up that are very often inaccurate for instance on this car there is a message that comes up that says "coolant level" meanwhile the coolant is filled to proper level and it runs & drives at perfectly normal temperature, there are a couple other ones (I cannot remember what they are) . . .bottom line 9/10 times its a sensor / malfunctioning sensor . . . I drove this car for almost a week . . .after you start it and the messages pop up (they don't always pop up) you just hit the reset button . . .and they are gone. . . ive always joked that when one of those error messages pops up there should be one of those cha-ching sounds effects . . .which is the sound of the dealer charging you money you don't need to spend . . .did you know there are 50+ things that can trigger a "check engine" light . . .including not tightening your gas cap enough ! also CarFax looks fine overall (one minor accident) . . . .
My daily driver is a 2005 Range Rover (with nearly 200k miles) . . . has probably a dozen fault codes / error messages . . .that have been on for YEARS (literally) . . . if you sat in it next to me while driving it you would think you were riding in a new car ! ! ! . . . like I said 9 times out of 10 they're meaningless !
Other than what I mentioned the car seems to be good and actually looks really nice . . . . please keep in mind this car is not brand new . . . its an older used car (that is over 10 years old) this Mercedes lived in NYC (after California) so you will find quite a few little bumper dings and chips (previous owner touched them up) it has the typical finish wear on the steering wheel and the pocket on the back of the drivers seat came detached at the bottom (still holds things), some curb rash on rims and the little plastic lens on the passenger side mirror is cracked & wear on drivers seat and steering wheel. . . . . .these are minor details
Also VERY important to mention that its kind of a half-myth that parts are expensive for luxury cars (they are if you buy at the dealer) . . .ive never NOT been able to find a part for a luxury or exotic car on-line. . .I can ALWAYS find whats needed and any qualified tech can install pretty much any part. . . just as an example . . .if the dealer / specialist charges $400 for a fuel pump . . .you can find one on eBay or another site for $225 . . . its just spending the few extra minutes to look . . .also for great pre-owned parts be sure to visit . . . www.Car-Part.com . .UP TO 70% - 80% off also . . .also a huge resource for technical advice can be located on YouTube . . .literally ANY repair that needs to be made on ANY car is there . . .for instance . . .in 5 seconds I found a video on how to fix the coolant light coming on . . . .
I always tell people when looking at this or ANY car . .the most important things that are crucial to confirm they are good . . . is the motor and the transmission . . .(obviously because those are the two most expensive items on any car) . . .everything around them is fixable. . . .I know the motor an transmission in this car are fine ! . . . .
Overall this Mercedes is in good condition . . . however you will find dings, dents, scrapes, scratches, flaws, minor leaks, squeaks, rattles, drips, drops, chips & touch up paint here and there there as well as other flaws & imperfections . . . .again . .all minor . . .NO GLARING DEFECTS. . . .its an older car . . .but in good condition ! . . .
