Item Description

Gilt and floral paint decorated porcelain French wedding vase, circa late 1800s.

The glazed white porcelain vase has been hand painted with gold accents in traditional Victorian patterns. The sides have molded acanthus leaf motifs and the top edge has an elegant scalloped border. This type of vase was traditionally used to display a bouquet of silk flowers as a souvenir to commemorate a couple's marriage. lebonheurvintage.com
