1995 Mercedes Benz C280 Sedan

1995 Mercedes Benz C280 with 138,415 miles.

Car is in overall nice condition and will make someone a reliable daily driver.

This car is 25 years old and has some minor things that have gone over time. We have gone through the car and tried to either picture or describe any and all issues that we are aware of. Here is a list of the issues we have found.

Seats are in overall good condition, leather has some light cracking on front two seats and one has very light wear on one edge of driver seat.

Carpet is in overall good condition throughout does have some spotting/staining throughout (Appears Cleanable) but car comes complete with four Mercedes floor mats that cover all four high traffic areas.

Driver seat plastic molding has a small piece missing/broken off. Missing piece is in glove box. Purely cosmetic.

There is some crackling in the wood finish near the shifter.

Driver side mirror is unable to be adjusted (again motor is working sounds like mirror is not properly connected) Should be fixable.

Passengers rear door window does not go down (you can hear motor but window is not on the track) Again should be fixable.

Drivers seat can be adjusted forward and backward but is unable to go up or down. Possible motor or blown fuse.

Radio is aftermarket and is working but does not sound like speakers are properly set up, (hearing static when radio is on).

Sun visor vanity mirror covers are loose and lights do not come on.

Car interior overall is in very good condition some minor dings/marks and some missing metal trim that
runs along door jams but looks great considering age.

Cars exterior has little to no rust on body. There is very light rust on interior bottom of drivers door, drivers side wheel well and missing paint/light rust by gas tank door edge. See photos.

Car does have a few minor scratches and dings. One notable scratch is a long thin scratch on the rear driver side quarter panel, along with a small hole/cracked bumper and small dent under light.

Car is missing Mercedes decal on the trunk.

Front bumper appears to have a gap between the bumper and the body. Only noticeable when you go down to bumper level.

Alloy Rims do you have some curb rash visible.

The deficiencys listed are basically all cosmetic or creature comfort related and have no impact on the running condition of the car.

The Positive

Vehicle has four Toyo Celsius tires that appear to be in almost new condition with a lot of tread left.

Trunk is clean and comes with a spare and a jack.

Windows have no chips or cracks but driver side window does have light scratch that appears to be from rubbing.

All lights appear to be working properly including headlights, brake lights, blinkers, interior lights and glove compartment.

Car has stock safety kit and looks to be unused.

Vehicle features a fully functioning sunroof.

Headliner is in good condition with no sagging.

Car was checked out at a local mechanic came back as roadworthy and mechanically sound.

Despite check engine light being on vehicle idles, runs, drives, accelerates, shifts gears and brakes as it should.

Overall this is a good looking daily driver that wears its age spots well but does need just a little love. Great car for anyone but even better for someone who knows their way around a vehicle.
