Chinese Birds Looking Glaffes Introduced in 1939.
WILLIAMSBURG CWLG7
This richly decorated frame with oriental birds, foliage, and Chinese details is characteristic of 18th-century mirrors. Like others of the period, done in raised gesso and hand-painted on lacquered wood. This frame features two beveled plates . 18 3/4 x 48 - Condition consistent with age- please see photos for signs of wear.
