Item Description

1952 Currier & Ives "Central Park, Winter, Skating Park" Calendar Advertising for a Business called Galvin's at 35 Ames St., Greenfield, Mass. PHONE 5537 - surrounded by a lovely period gold-toned frame.
"Entered according to act of Congress 1862, by CURRIER & IVES in the Clerk's Office of this District Court of the United States, for the Southern District of New York."
Art visible area is: 7 1/2" Wide x 5 3/4" Tall
Frame dimensions are: 10 3/4" Wide x 8 7/8" Tall
See the backside photo. The painting frame work includes a sturdy wood frame in back that helps to keep the canvas straight and protected. It has the maker's name stamped into it in two places - " ANCO-BILT 36 NY. ANCO INC 18". There is wire already for hanging. There is a cardboard loop for hanging and the Calendar has been kept in original condition.
