This is a circa 1930-ish Montag Duchess wood-fired cast iron cookstove and oven.

Pick-up Note: This lot will need special coordination to schedule Pick-up. Winning Bidder will need to contact the Auction (Cabin Fever) and make specific arrangements after the close of the auction, since the stove is at a different physical location, from the rest of the Auction Pick-up. It is not far, but is not located with the other lots.

Background Note: The consigner says that while owning it, they have moved it three times, but never hooked up, so it's time to let it go. It was last in operation when removed 25 years ago and has been stored inside ever since. The stove surfaces could use a re-seasoning.

Size Note: The unit measures +/- 34W x 24D with a bump-out for the chimney connection. The cooktop is ~36" tall, the shelf on the backsplash sits at 48"H.

Loading Note: Heavy, but can be moved/loaded with ramps and a hand dolly. A truck or trailer can back right up to the garage door where this heavy unit is staged.
