French Empire Style Chandelier

This chandelier's perfect symmetry and opulent crystals epitomize the empire style. Starting from the peacock feather body dish that resembles a crown, the meticulous details are abundant throughout. The delicate crystal chains descend the chandelier and connect to its highly intricate bronze ribbons. There are seven rows of incredible crystal prisms that culminate in a crystal bottom ball. 

From 1804–15, Napoléon I reigned as the emperor of France, bringing the country into a new era of wealth after the fall of the monarchy and the tumultuous years of the French Revolution. This stylistic era came to be known as French Empire.
