Deck the halls with stylish secondhand holiday decorations and gems galore! Here, we rounded up some of our favorite festive vignettes featuring all kinds of vintage Christmas decor and thrifted holiday decorations. Use these images as inspo, as you prep your tablescape, spruce up the mantle, trim the tree, and more this season.

Give a Vintage Santa New Life

If you come across a vintage Santa figurine like this one, the opportunities for where to display him are endless! Style Santa on the mantel top or set him on a side table (we’re loving this beautiful barley twist one) to add a pop of pep to your hallway. Be sure to go all in with colorful secondhand Christmas ornaments as seen here, too. Vintage Christmas decor is all about embracing vibrancy and maximalism, after all!

Try This Instead of Inflatables

Even if you’re not into inflatable snowmen in the front yard, you can display a smaller Frosty on your entryway table to still bring plenty of festive flair into your home. This vintage snowman and colorful tree could not be any cuter. We also like the idea of stocking up on large glass hurricanes when you secondhand shop, as these come in handy throughout the home all year long. Fill them up with pretty ornaments during the holidays, then swap in pine cones for the rest of the winter season.

Jazz up Everyday Vintage Pieces

A vintage ornate mirror and pair of alabaster lamps get the special holiday treatment thanks to decorative wreaths and garlands aplenty and a few bow accents. These mini wreaths are secondhand holiday wreaths as well and look adorable adhered to the front of the mirror. This setup is proof that you don't need to disturb an everyday vignette to get festive—you can simply add to it!

Build a Collection

There is nothing more fun than shopping for secondhand pieces to help you build out a collection. Many people collect vintage Santa mugs like these, and there seems to be no limit on how many is too many! Group your mugs in a fun display case like this one or style them on a bar turned hot cocoa cart.

Upgrade Your Tree Display

If you display a mini Christmas tree at home, look for a beautiful brass pot like this one to put it in. This looks so much more elevated than your typical plastic base and will add instant character to any nook of the home. In the offseason, simply place another type of plant inside of the vessel.

Take on the Table

Set your holidays table like a total pro using vintage platters that look luxe but were actually quite affordable. Keep an eye out for serving trays, cake stands, and the like as you shop at estate sales and thrift stores. You can choose to purchase pieces with a holiday-specific design or go the more simple route. Use garland and ribbon to add a festive touch to the tabletop in an instant.
