SELLING AND CONSIGNING
HOW DO I SELL ITEMS WITH BLACKWELL AUCTION GROUP?

Depending on the type, quantity, value, and location of the property, we can discuss whether an online auction, onsite estate sale, consignment, specialty auction, or another selling method may be appropriate.
DO I NEED AN ENTIRE ESTATE TO WORK WITH YOU?
No. We work with complete estates, collections, and individual consignments.
If you have coins, precious metals, jewelry, antiques, collectibles, artwork, tools, furniture, or other quality property, contact us to discuss whether the items may be appropriate for an upcoming sale.
WHAT TYPES OF ITEMS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We handle a broad range of personal property, including coins, gold and silver, jewelry, watches, antiques, collectibles, fine and decorative art, furniture, tools, power tools, mechanic and automotive tools, vintage advertising, glassware, crystal, porcelain, pottery, vintage toys, sports memorabilia, household collections, and specialty collections.
Acceptance depends on condition, value, marketability, location, quantity, and the appropriate sales venue.
DO YOU BUY ITEMS OUTRIGHT?
Our primary business is auction, estate sale, and consignment services. In certain situations, other options may be available depending on the property. Contact us with photographs and information about the items you are interested in selling.
HOW DO I KNOW WHETHER I NEED AN ESTATE SALE OR ONLINE AUCTION?
There is no single answer for every estate.
The best selling method depends on the type and quantity of property, anticipated value, location, timeline, condition, and likely buyer market.
In some cases, an onsite estate sale makes sense. In others, an online auction or continued consignment may provide a better opportunity to reach interested buyers. Some estates may benefit from a combination of selling methods.

DO YOU HANDLE ESTATES FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE MOVING OR RELOCATING?
Yes. Our services are not limited to probate estates.
We work with homeowners and families who are relocating, preparing a property for sale, managing an estate, liquidating a collection, or going through another life transition.
DO YOU HANDLE COINS, GOLD, SILVER, AND PRECIOUS METALS?
Yes. Coins and precious metals are an important part of our background through R & T Coin.

ONLINE AUCTIONS AND BIDDING
HOW DO I BID IN A BLACKWELL AUCTION GROUP AUCTION?
Our Auction Ninja sales are conducted through the Auction Ninja platform. Select the auction you are interested in, register to bid, review the auction terms, and place your bids on the lots you would like to purchase.
Always review the specific auction’s terms, pickup information, payment requirements, and shipping availability before bidding.
IS THERE A BUYER’S PREMIUM?
A Buyer’s Premium may apply to purchases and will be disclosed in the terms of the specific auction.
Please review the auction terms before bidding so you understand all applicable charges.
DO YOU OFFER SHIPPING?
Shipping availability depends on the auction and the individual item.
Some items may be eligible for shipping, while large, heavy, fragile, or otherwise impractical items may be designated for local pickup only.
Always check the individual auction and lot information before bidding if you will require shipping and reach out if further information is needed.
WHERE IS AUCTION PICKUP?
Pickup locations vary because many of our auctions and estate sales take place at different properties throughout Southwest Florida.
The applicable pickup location, date, and time will be provided with the auction information. Please review these details before bidding.
CAN SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP MY ITEMS?
Requirements may vary by auction. Please contact us before pickup if another person will be collecting your purchases so we can advise you of any applicable requirements.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT MAKE THE SCHEDULED PICKUP?
Please contact us as soon as possible.
Do not assume an alternative pickup time will be available. Estate properties often have strict deadlines, and we may not have continued access to the location after the scheduled pickup.
Any alternative arrangements are subject to availability and the terms of the specific auction.
CAN I INSPECT AN ITEM BEFORE BIDDING?
Preview availability varies by auction.
If a preview is offered, the date, time, and applicable instructions will be included with the auction information. If you have a specific question about an item, contact us before bidding and reference the auction name and lot number.
ARE ITEMS GUARANTEED?
Unless specifically stated otherwise, estate and auction property is offered in its existing condition.
We make reasonable efforts to provide useful photographs and descriptions, but bidders should carefully review all available information and the terms and conditions of the specific auction before bidding.
If you have a question about condition, dimensions, markings, operation, or another important characteristic, contact us before placing your bid.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU HAVE NEW AUCTIONS?
New auctions and estate collections are added as inventory becomes available.

ESTATE SALES
DO YOU CONDUCT TRADITIONAL ONSITE ESTATE SALES?
Yes. Blackwell Auction Group conducts onsite estate sales when appropriate for the property, merchandise, location, and circumstances.
We can assist with organization, research, photography, pricing, advertising, marketing, sale preparation, and conducting the sale.
WHAT HAPPENS TO ITEMS THAT DO NOT SELL AT AN ESTATE SALE?
Depending on the property and our agreement with the client, appropriate remaining items may be considered for continued consignment, online auction, another sale, or another commercially reasonable sales method.
The appropriate approach depends on the merchandise and circumstances of the estate.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I CONTACT YOU ABOUT AN ESTATE SALE?
As early as possible.
Additional preparation time allows for organization, research, photography, advertising, marketing, and sale planning. However, we understand that estates and relocating sometimes involve tight deadlines.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By registering for an auction or placing a bid, the bidder acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
All bids are binding. Please do not bid unless you intend to complete the purchase and can comply with the payment, pickup, and shipping requirements for the auction.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL
All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS.
There are no returns, refunds, exchanges, credits, or cancellations except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Blackwell Auction Group makes no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, regarding the condition, age, authenticity, origin, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or functionality of an item unless specifically stated in writing in the individual lot description.
PHOTOGRAPHS AND DESCRIPTIONS
Buyers are responsible for carefully reviewing all photographs, descriptions, measurements, condition information, and other information provided before bidding.
Photographs are considered an important part of the description.
Blackwell Auction Group makes reasonable efforts to photograph and describe items accurately. Descriptions and condition statements are provided as a courtesy and represent our observations and information available to us at the time of cataloging.
The absence of a reference to damage, wear, repairs, missing pieces, alterations, or other condition issues does not mean that an item is free from such conditions.
Antique, vintage, estate, and previously owned items should be expected to show signs of age and use.
Measurements, dimensions, weights, colors, and other information may be approximate.
BUYER DUE DILIGENCE
It is the responsibility of the bidder to determine condition, completeness, suitability, value, and any other factor important to the bidder before placing a bid.
PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING.
If you need additional photographs, measurements, or information, please contact Blackwell Auction Group before bidding and sufficiently in advance of the auction closing.
By placing a bid, the bidder acknowledges that they have reviewed the available information, had the opportunity to ask questions, and agree to accept the item in its current condition.
TESTING AND FUNCTIONALITY
Unless specifically stated otherwise, electrical, electronic, mechanical, powered, motorized, battery operated, and similar items should not be assumed to have been professionally inspected or tested.
If an item is described as untested, no representation is being made regarding whether the item operates.
Buyers should assume that maintenance, repairs, replacement parts, batteries, accessories, or servicing may be required.
BUYERS PREMIUM
A buyers premium will be added to the winning bid price of each lot.
The applicable buyers premium will be disclosed in the individual auction. Buyers are responsible for reviewing the buyers premium before bidding.
SALES TAX
Applicable sales tax will be collected as required by law.
Tax exempt buyers are responsible for completing all required exemption procedures through AuctionNinja before the auction closes.
PAYMENT
Winning bidders are responsible for payment of the winning bid price, buyers premium, applicable taxes, shipping charges, handling charges, and any other charges disclosed in the auction terms.
A declined or invalid payment does not cancel the buyers obligation to pay for purchased items.
PICKUP
Pickup dates, times, and locations are stated in each auction.
Buyers are responsible for making certain they can pick up their purchases during the designated pickup period before bidding.
Buyers are responsible for bringing appropriate labor, packing materials, tools, carts, dollies, equipment, and vehicles necessary to safely remove their purchases.
Blackwell Auction Group does not guarantee assistance with loading, disassembly, removal, or transportation.
FAILURE TO PICK UP
Items not picked up during the designated pickup period and for which prior arrangements have not been approved by Blackwell Auction Group may be considered abandoned or forfeited without refund to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Failure to pick up an item does not entitle the buyer to a refund.
SHIPPING
Shipping is available only for auctions or lots specifically identified as eligible for shipping.
Buyers requesting shipping are responsible for all applicable postage, carrier charges, packing, handling, insurance, signature service, oversized package charges, freight charges, and other shipping related expenses.
Shipping charges are separate from the purchase price and buyers premium unless specifically stated otherwise.
Buyers are responsible for making sure the shipping address on their AuctionNinja account is complete and accurate.
Blackwell Auction Group will make reasonable efforts to package items securely.
Once a package has been accepted by the shipping carrier, delays, loss, or damage occurring during transit are subject to the carriers procedures and applicable insurance coverage. Blackwell Auction Group will reasonably assist the buyer with a carrier claim when necessary.
Large, heavy, fragile, unusually valuable, or difficult to ship items may require special packing, third party shipping, freight service, additional insurance, or local pickup.
FAILURE TO PAY
Failure to complete payment does not release the winning bidder from the obligation to purchase the item.
Blackwell Auction Group reserves the right, subject to applicable law and AuctionNinja policies, to offer an unpaid item to another bidder, resell the item, restrict future bidding privileges, or pursue other available remedies.
ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
Blackwell Auction Group reserves the right to correct cataloging errors or omissions and to withdraw a lot when reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable platform rules.
Blackwell Auction Group is not responsible for typographical errors, inadvertent omissions, photographic variations, or information supplied by consignors that could not reasonably be independently verified.
ONLINE BIDDING
Online auctions depend upon internet connectivity and third party technology.
Blackwell Auction Group is not responsible for a bidders internet connection, device malfunction, browser problems, inability to access AuctionNinja, missed bids, or other bidder side technical issues.
BUYER RESPONSIBILITY AFTER PURCHASE
The buyer assumes responsibility for the safe transportation, installation, handling, operation, and use of purchased property after taking possession.
Tools, machinery, electrical equipment, automotive components, appliances, and other potentially hazardous items should be inspected by an appropriately qualified person before use when appropriate.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
PLACING A BID CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
