Vintage SAND PIPER shore bird on drift wood base, signed on the under belly of the bird as H. MONK (see our red arrow for placement) . Nicely painted with natural colors, a well made shore bird for your display. This guy has lots of character don't miss out it's a beautiful vintage piece by a local maker, Harry Monk of Whitman Massachusetts. Harry made several shore birds that are highly collected, he passed away in 2010 making his work more sought after. This Sand Piper appears to have glass eyes.
