Your family heirloom awaits!
This awesome ring is nothing less than the jewelry of Queens; very sure to take HER breath away!
The ethereal green of this rare and gorgeous gemstone is otherworldly brilliant and catches the eye from across the room! That is to say nothing of the raft of diamonds which surround it; each one flashing and brilliant in it's own right. Wow.
History: This ring was custom made; commissioned by a wealthy Texan in the 1950s as a gift for his beloved. She adored it and wore it to galas and soirees; cherishing it and taking the ultimate care with it. As the end of her life found her childless, she gifted it to her loyal carer who had been at her side through her most challenging times. That good woman put it away in a silk lined box where it has stayed, not seeing the light of day for many decades; waiting for a proverbial "rainy day" before she could ever considering parting with it. Well, with world events being as they are, I'm told it is 'now raining'.
This ring was professionally appraised on paper in 1979 and again in 1980; at that time gold was selling at $600/Troy Oz. (It is now at over $1800/Troy Oz.) Both appraisals are included in the photographs for your review.
As you van see, the retail value of this amazing stone (alone) at that time, when emeralds of this quality were selling at $9000 per carat - was estimated to be $27,000. Likely a good investment, and one to be ENJOYED on a daily basis, as to wear this amazing piece is to live a dream.
