VINTAGE MID-CENTURY ITALIAN POTTERY LAMP MADE FOR BENROSE

Vintage lamp made in Italy for Benrose, mid-20th century, the capodimonte-type body of lobed urn form with elaborate allover pierced, molded, painted, and gilded decoration featuring putti, scrolls, and floral motifs, the gold-finished filigree metal base of concave square form with beveled corners and four dolphin-shaped supports, the harp with urn-turned and gold-painted wooden finial, cord with pre-polarized plug, the height to the top of the socket 23-1/2", to top of finial 34", the interior of the base with hand-painted mark "Benrose 046 Italy."

Notes: A bit of minor surface wear to metal fittings, otherwise very fine condition, with no cracks, chips, or crazing
