VINTAGE CLEAR SATIN GLASS CIGARETTE OR TRINKET BOX IN ART DECO STYLE, POSSIBLY FRENCH, CIRCA 1920s - 1930s

Fabulous vintage cigarette or tinket box in the Art Deco taste, possibly French, 1920s–1930s, frosted clear glass in rectagular form, the lid and sides deeply molded with birds in flight, sectioned interior with three compartments, the overall dimensions 6-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 2-1/2".

A scarce and striking model in the manner of such French makers as Lalique and Verlys; I was unable to locate another such example.

Notes: Small inclusion to base (original to manufacture), and two small, unobtrusive flakes to inner flange of lid (well away from edges), otherwise near fine and attractive overall
