ORIGINAL VINTAGE PRESS PASS FOR THE WEDDING OF PRINCESS MARGARET AND ANTONY ARMSTRONG-JONES, 1960

Scarce and historic press pass/identification card issued by Scotland Yard to Arthur Schoenfuss for the Royal Wedding of Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones, May 6, 1960, four panels printed on peach cardstock measuring 4-3/4" x 3-5/8".

The present press credential was issued to Arthur Schoenfuss (1918–2020), a longtime engineer at CBS News. The interior bears Schoenfuss' affixed photo and signature, plus multiple ink stamps and initials from representatives of the Metropolitain Police.

Margaret and her husband, a renowned photographer later elevated to the Earl of Snowden, were divorced in 1978, the first divorce by a senior member of the Royal Family since 1901.
