LARGE ANTIQUE ALBUMEN PHOTO OF THE BEACH AT SCHEVENINGEN, NETHERLANDS, 1890s

Large antique albumen photo of the beach at Scheveningen, the Hague, Netherlands, 1890s, the image measuring 11" x 9" on the original card mount measuring 13-3/8" x 10-3/4" overall.

The reverse of the mount bears a contemporaneous, similarly sized photo of the Monument Plein 1813 (Dutch Independence Monument) in the Hague.

Notes: A bit of subtle soiling; some wear to mount (light waviness; marginal skinning to left half, not affecting image); a few small scrapes to emulsion (all near edges; all faults easily concealed by framing/matting if desired); otherwise very good condition overall, with warm tone and good clarity and contrast
