FINE VINTAGE RED BLOWN GLASS CAMPANA-FORM CHAMPAGNE/WINE COOLER, POSSIBLY MURANO, MID-20TH CENTURY

Scarce and fabulous vintage wine bucket/cooler, probably Venice/Murano, Italy, mid-20th century, hand-blown ruby red glass in campana form with circular foot and compressed ball standard, the body with everted fire-polished lip, rough pontil, 10" tall by 9-1/4" in diameter overall at the rim.

A striking and spectacular example, quite uncommon in this combination of form and color, handsome for display or creative repurposing as a vase, serving piece, etc.

Notes: Some faint, subtle residue to bottom portion (only) of interior, and a few small inclusions original to manufacture, otherwise fine, attractive condition, with no cracks or chips
