Stunning vintage women's purse or handbag, circa 1920s, of pouch form with double drawstring closure, the body of fine crochet or similar knotwork covered with thousands of faceted black beads, featuring pendant beaded tassels along the side and bottom, the drawstrings terminating in berry-like "knobs," the interior lined with pale fuchsia silk, approx. 6-1/2" wide at the opening (flat) by 9-1/2" long overall.

A stunning authentic period example with a strong "flapper" flavor, perfect for display or use.
