George Chen (Chinese-American, contemporary): "Baby in Pink," oil on stretched canvas, 1988, 18" x 14", housed in a handsome giltwood frame measuring 21" x 17" overall, signed at dated at lower right, "George Chen, Lowell, 2-1988."

Chen, who lives and works in Lowell, Massachusetts, studied at the Century Art School in Saigon. Proficient in both traditional Chinese painting techniques and oils, Chen has exhibited his work at various New England venues, including the Whistler House Museum in Lowell.
