Charles M. Freeman (American, born 1951): "Metalworker and Welders," original ink and wash drawing, circa 1970s, signed at lower left "Charles M. Freeman," 10-7/8 x 10-3/8", matted and framed under glass to an overall size of 17-5/8" x 16-5/8".
Freeman, a wildlife artist and commercial illustrator from Amesbury, Massachusetts, is perhaps best known for his design for the 1989 Illinois State Duck Stamp, which depicts a ring-necked hen and drake.
Notes: A bit of very faint soiling to mat; otherwise clean, bright, and very fine (not examined outside frame)
