Antique master ink bottle made by Bourne & Son, Denby Potteries, Derby, England, for Thaddeus Davids, New York City, early-to-mid-19th century, stoneware in cylindrical form with convex shoulder, the rim with molded spout, finished in a medium brown glaze, 9-1/4" tall by 3-3/8" in diameter, the side with the impressed oval Bourne & Son stamp and "DAVIDS, NEW YORK."
Notes: Chip to center of underside (well away from edge and only affecting a bit of excess clay stuck during manufacture); a few tiny, quite unobtrusive glaze flakes elsewhere; otherwise sound, near-fine, attractive condition
