Item Description

Unusual pair of "occupational" or tradesmen figurines, probably German, 19th century, hollow-molded porcelain hand-painted with gilt accents, one depicting a blond young man butchering a pig atop a stump with an axe, the other a wheelwright with a hammer and unfinished wheel, approx. 5-1/2" tall, each with hand-painted number 39 on interior of base.

Notes: A bit of mild wear to decoration, otherwise very fine, attractive condition, with no cracks, chips, or crazing

Though the Saturday pickup hours stated are preferred, I am happy to work with prospective bidders for alternate pickup days, provided: 1) arrangements are confirmed prior to the end of the sale; 2) the buyer agrees in writing to the mutually acceptable date/time.
