ANTIQUE FRAMED DRY GOODS ADVERTISING BROADSIDE FROM ROCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE, 1863

Rare original advertising broadside from S. H. Feineman & Brother, Rochester, New Hampshire, May 1863, letterpress printed on yellow stock measuring approx. 18-1/2" x 11-1/2", housed under glass in an early wood frame measuring 20" x 13" overall.

The text reads, in part: "We are now prepared to exhibit the very Largest and most beautiful stock of Goods ever brought to this place, consisting of Staple & Fancy Dry Goods, such as: Mozambiques, Lavellas, Velours, Arabian Glace, Armures, Lenocs, Toil de Paris, Crepe de Lyon, &c., &c. Shawls of the Latest Styles in Great Variety. Ladies' Cloaks! Cloaks!! For the convenience of the Ladies, we have made preparations to TAKE THE MEASURE FOR CLOAKS, which we make to order in the latest style, and of superior workmanship, at the shortest notice. AND ALL KINDS OF FANCY ARTICLES. . . . A fine assortment of PIECE GOODS is constantly on hand, consisting of CLOTHS, CASSIMERES, VESTINGS, SILKS, SATINS, &c., offering a superior chance for selection to those who wish their clothing made to order. . . ."
