023 Vintage Mrs. Robbinson's Restaurant Pies Table Talk Display 1930s

Sensational vintage Mrs. Robbinson's Pies counter display, circa 1930. Excellent old paint and great finial! All original. "Mrs. Robbinson's Pies" was a line of fresh pies created by Table Talk Pies for sale in restaurants and general stores. Table Talk Pies was established in 1924 in Worcester, Massachusetts. This display held fresh pies that were sold in returnable "10 cent deposit" tins. All four sides of top are embossed with "Mrs. Robbinson's Pies". Bottom panel of door is incised with "PROPERTY OF TABLE TALK INC. WORCESTER,MASS. DEPOSIT". One side of display opens with ball-shaped pull. Door has magnetic closure. Great diamond-pattern on glass on 3-sides. Metal interior rack holds 5 pies. There is a square piece of glass protecting the interior floor of the display. Lovely scroll feet. Magnificent vintage advertising general store or restaurant counter display!!! 26-3/4"H x 14.5"W x 14.5"D.
