Vintage KELLOGG 1000 Bakelite RED BAR Art Deco Telephone Hand Crank Masterphone

Great old Bakelite Art Deco Desk Redbar Masterphone; #1070 SB. Circa 1947. Smooth contours; Bakelite still has great shine on the body! Red bar at top is the hook-switch. Phone has a hand-crank magneto in the base. This phone has its own ringer box inside.

Excellent condition; cord to handset has been cut, but you can see the cut ends on the receiver and on the housing body and it can easily be re-connected. The original cloth-covered wire that connects to the wall is present and in excellent condition. No cracks, chips; no damage. The crank handle turns as it should. The phone is signed on the bottom (see photos) and the receiver mouthpiece is signed KELLOGG Switchboard and Supply Company, Chicago, IL.
