Stately Empire Secretary Bookcase, 1840-50s, Mahogany (pine interior)
Lower case overhanging top rectangular long drawer over 2, bracketed with heavily carved half columns with pineapple carving, full flower end caps over foliage carved hairy paw - side case has recessed panel with crotch mahogany flame panels.
Upper cabinet has two glass doors over two side by side glove drawers - applied fruit basket at center with corner plinths and carved pineapples.
