Mid Century Modern Vintage Hammered Sterling Silver Designer Signed Collar/Neck Piece

Artsy chic hammered estate necklace measures approximately 22” in length. Heavy wire is 5mm wide and marked Sterling and signed by the silversmith. (Signature is hard to read, we believe it says ‘Jean Newton‘? Or ‘Newein’? Please see pix). It weighs 40+ grams.
