Next to Audubon, one may think his pieces are Audubon, but Roger Tory Peterson (August 28, 1908 – July 28, 1996) was one of the greatest naturalists and illustrator of birds and other fauna. His 1978 series commands $100's however the 1942 series by the Quaker State Lithographing co. has held up wonderfully and although there is aging to the paper no noticeable foxing to be seen and the colors retain! Nice large piece! Great condition for 70 years, 29.5"H x 23, vis. 27.5" x 21".
