Item Description

For sale is an old (possible 1930's) large doctor's, or salesman's, genuine cowhide leather bag. The bag is marked "TUERKE", "WARRANTED GENUINE COWHIDE, 53P, L8". The bag is monogrammed "R.M.K. Balto., MD". The bag is in very good vintage and used condition. See photos. The two latches on the sides hold the clasps tightly. The key to the lock is not included. When depressed, the key mechanism releases the clasp to open the bag. The hinges on the sides work great. There are no holes or punctures in the leather. There are worn areas on the ends, but the bag is solid. The bag could be cleaned. The satchel is about 18" across the front, 10 1/2" on the side, and 12" tall. On the inside there are 2 side compartments. One runs the length of the side, 18", with a snap. The other compartment is divided into two equal areas. See photos, and if you have questions, please ask before bidding.

This bag came from an estate of a salesman.
