VINTAGE POTTERY MEN'S DRESSER CADDY IN THE FORM OF A BOXING KANGAROO, 1956

Winning Bid
$11.00
Item #1667
Lot #78 of 135
Item Description

Vintage men's dresser caddy in the form of a boxing kangaroo, 1950s, the ceramic body depicting the smiling figure with boxing gloves, with compartments for spare change, keys, wallet, etc. (the tail used for jewelry and watches), 7-1/2" tall, marked "Fine Ent Inc., 1956, U.S.A."

This whimsical item earned a footnote in pop culture history for its prominent appearance in the now-classic 1994 film Pulp Fiction, where it can be seen in the tense sequence in which the Bruce Willis character returns to his apartment to retrieve his prized heirloom watch from an identical kangaroo and and ends up in a bizarre and harrowing situation with Ving Rhames.

CONDITION: In very fine condition, with no cracks or chips.
