VINTAGE POTTERY AND GLASS LAMP BY MOUNTAIN MEADOWS POTTERY, VERMONT, 1980S

Vintage table lamp by Mountain Meadows Pottery (aka Mountaine Meadows), South Ryegate, Vermont, circa 1980s, the buff clay body of lobed column form with circular base and applied loop handle, decorated with sgraffito floral motifs finished in raised pink and green glazes, with a lobed "puffy" shade of satin peach glass over white, the overall height 19", the bottom handle attachment with impressed "MPM" logo.

A striking, beautifully made, functional example from this now-defunct Vermont pottery. Note that the brass shade frame will also accommodate a standard glass chimney to rise through the center if desired (not included).

CONDITION: Mild surface wear to metal fittings, otherwise fine, attractive working condition, with no cracks or chips.
