TWO VINTAGE ART POTTERY TRIVETS OR TILES, MID-TO-LATE 20TH CENTURY

Two vintage art pottery tiles/trivets, mid-to-late 20th century, including: 1) Stoneware hand-incised and glazed with images of two stylized bottles, approx. 7-7/8" x 7-7/8", framed in light wood measuring 9-3/4" x 9-3/4" overall, the reverse with indistinct handwritten signature (M. A. Borman?); 2) White ceramic decorated on the diagonal with stylized trees and plants with visible roots, 6" x 6", the reverse marked "WHEELING/CUSHION."

CONDITION: Minor surface wear to frame, otherwise very fine, attractive condition.
