ANTIQUE HAND-COLORED SPANISH FASHION PLATE ENGRAVING, "MAJA," FRAMED, 19TH CENTURY

Lovely antique fashion plate engraving, probably Spanish, 19th century, printed on heavy handmade cream paper and hand-colored, captioned "Maja (No. 26)," plate size 8-1/2" x 6-1/4", overall sight size 12" x 9-3/4”, housed under glass in a vintage ebonized wooden frame with gold liner measuring 13-1/4” x 11” overall, the reverse bearing an early gallery label from Madrid.

CONDITION: Light scattered wear to frame; a bit of soil trapped under glass and a few small, faint marginal spots; otherwise very good condition overall.
