Item Description

A Captain's desk With red gilt tooled leather insert on the wooden table. Front profile has bracketed supports on top and bottom. and a panel frontage. Right side having a pull out shelf, 3 slim drawers and a larger bottom drawer, all with wooden cup handles.

These desks were used by ship captains because they were compact and provided ample storage space.

Dimensions: 28 3/4"W (with ext 45") 23"D x 29 1/2"H
Condition: Good, age appropriate condition. Wood back board is compromised, needs gluing. See pictures for further description.
