Called them about shipping and someone there said no problem its just that one diecast your bidding on I can ship that out to you. Your in Massachusetts and it wont be a problem. Bid and won the item then called again about shipping. He said that he has a lot of lots to pack up and would email me when he got to my item. Took his word for it and never received anything from them. Looked at invoice and it says no pickup ant it was forfeited. Took my money and did not ship it. Called them and said I wouldn't have never said that. Well then if you hadn't I would on never bid. Wonder how many times this routine happens. Took my money and kept the item. Buyer beware.

I was very excited to pick up my items but the guy who answers the phone, Ed, must be the most miserable, disrespectful, and disgustingly heartless person I have ever met. After winning a number of items after two auctions, I reached out on a Friday to schedule a pick up appointment with a very nice lady. After she went over their pick up time hours available, I told her that I would need to call her back because picking up the following Tuesday would not work for me so I had to check in with my work schedule. About an hour or so later she calls me back and leaves me a voicemail saying she wasn't sure where we had left off on our call so she was going to put me down as picking up the items the next Tuesday just in case. I did not notice this voicemail until after the closing hours on Saturday and wouldn't be able to come back until Tuesday morning. As soon as they opened up on Tuesday I called and had my first encounter with the miserable Ed. I explained to him the communication error with the lady on Friday and how I wouldnt be able to pick it up that day as I was working and live all the way in Rhode Island. I told him that I would be able to pick it up on Thursday and he didn't say much, but was very short with me on the phone and confirmed my new date and time. I didn't think much of it but on that Thursday morning I started my drive down from Rhode Island to Waterbury and unfortunately got into a car accident and had to get my car towed. Still shaken by the experience, I still did my due diligence and call them up to let them know what happened, and that I had to reschedule my appointment. When I told him I could figure out transportation and be able to pick it up the following day, his response was one of the most disgusting human displays of insensitivity, rudeness, and sheer lack of empathy. He said, "this is it". There was a long pause after he said that because I was very confused by the statement. I asked him what that meant, and he said that if I do not come tomorrow that they are going to throw out my items. That because this would be the third appointment request, that they don't have to keep my stuff there for me to pick up. I was so confused as I just experienced this shaking and unfortunate incident, and had to be spoken to so cruelly without any remorse was sickening. I after ending the call I regretted having bought anything from their business. When I arrived the next day, I fortunately did not have to speak to him as the very nice woman that I first spoke to the previous week was there. When I looked at all the items I had, I noticed one of the light fixtures I purchased had a note written on the box saying return/broken. I looked at the listing for item, and in none of the pictures or details did it mention that the item was broken. I asked her if that was a random note or if it meant that the item inside, the box was broken and she said she wasn't sure, but that the team always looks over Items to make sure things are not broken but to open it up and be sure. Luckily I did because when I opened up the box the glass was cracked. It was only five dollars and they refunded me my money that same day, but I was surprised by the quality of the other items I won. I had items that were labeled as new that were definitely not as the wiring had been curved and did not have the protected coatings that new items would have on the hot and neutral wires. I will not be doing business with them again.

To pick up I had to schedule a time which was no big deal, but the guy gave me a hard time on the phone and warned me if I missed my one hour window I'd forfeit my item. I got there during my time slot and called and the same guy answered. I told him I was there to pick up and he nearly hung up on me saying I had to schedule it ahead of time. I explained I had scheduled it ahead and it felt like he begrudgingly came to the door. He opened the door, took my license, told me to wait in the hall, and closed the door behind him like I was a criminal. Luckily another guy brought the painting out and returned my license was nice and I love the painting, but I don't know why that one guy was so nasty to me! It's a business, he wasn't doing me a favor...I paid and did everything he asked but still felt like the main guy couldn't be bothered to be even nominally pleasant.
