A NOTE ON THE ARTWORK...Much of the art featured in this sale is from the artist Barbara Rosenzweig. She has been featured, displayed, and sold her artwork in both the U.S. and Europe. She has been installed in both solo and group exhibitions, corporate collections, private collections, and in public space installations. Her artwork consists of brilliant passages of color, bold placements of line, layers of gesso and oil pigment are among the features of her paintings that beckon, appealing directly to the mind’s eye and one’s center of imagination. More about Rosenzweig can be found online. The pieces offered in this sale are very striking and impressive in person. The colors are incredible, especially the transition work, created in a mulitlayer process that takes sometimes months of work and dry time to achieve. The pieces are mean to be displayed unframed, so the viewer can see the multilayer process flowing off the linen. The paint surface is stretched on wood framing that is sturdy and very well constructed.

ATTENTION LONG ISLAND CUSTOMERS:
We can transport small items to be picked up at our office in Plainview for an additional cost of $10 per lot. (Payable in cash at time of pick up which will be scheduled after the auction).
