one is An antique silver plate butter dish by the Meriden Britannia Company. The butter dish features a somewhat spherical roll-top, engraved with the initials ‘A.E.’, with embossed patterning and a raised cameo accent. It has pierced meandering trim, cut-out quatrefoil patterning to its underside, and stands on an oblong pedestal base.
