LIFETIME ESTATE AUCTION: Collection Of Bill Thompson, Inc. Clocks, Watches, Continental Decor, Books, Figural Lamps, Marble Tables, Victorian Furnishings, Etc.

A partnership auction with Tim’s Inc Auctions:

Bill Thompson is well known within the Bristol collecting community as someone good with his hands. For nearly 50 years Bill collected and worked on clocks and watches, amassing an ...view moreimportant collection of rarer time pieces and tools. He volunteered at the Clock Museum in Bristol as well as was president of the Vintage Radio and Communications Museum Of Connecticuts ham club and long time supporter. Whether you are starting out working on watches and clocks, or are a veteran of the field, there is something for everyone!

Along with the impressive clock collection for this auction has been flanked Bills taste for finer antiques, particularly Continental. He and his wife had many excellent examples of better Victorian furniture, including marble tables, unique formed bookcases, and an impressive wardrobe with top hat cabinet. From this collection we also present many mouth dropping figural lamps, many with crystal, and mantle pieces.

As most collectors do, Bill collected many amazing books on the subject of antiques, including Wallace Nuttings "Furniture Treasury" which is a must have for any antique dealer. There is also a library of clock reference materials and technical books for electrical work available in this auction.
