Online sales can be either offered as an auction style or for immediate sale. Items can remain in their current location. These sales are typically held for a minimum of 5 days.  

Buy Out/Clean Out:

A buy out/clean out can be a single item up to an entire estate offered for sale to This That and The Other Thing for an agreed upon value. These sales help with item(s) that do not fit into another sale category or a time constraint.  

Private Sale:

A discrete purchase and sale opportunity where a consignment, that the consignor retains, meets a request of a prospective & verified buyer. There is no time frame for this type of sale.

Preparation time will be evaluated during consult., as times do not include the initial preparation of sale or removal of items which can range from several days to weeks or months.

Auctions may be modified, changed, or withdrawn at any time, at seller’s discretion. By bidding you understand and agree to all seller’s terms and any bids placed are a binding contract to purchase auction lot if buyer is winning bidder. All items sold “as-is, where-is” with no implied, written, or expressed guarantees and/or warranties. All items are described to the best of the seller’s ability. Any condition statement is given as a courtesy to a client, is only an opinion, and should not be treated as a statement of fact. Seller shall have no responsibility for any errors or omissions. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging. All pictures offered as part of condition statement. Any further inquiries on condition should be made to This That and The Other Thing before bidding.

Payment:

All payments processed through AuctionNinja.com.

Pick-up:

Local free pick-up at designated location within the assigned time frame.  Any auction lot items not picked up during the assigned time frame will be considered forfeiture.

Forfeiture:

If auction lot items cannot be picked up at designated location during assigned time frame and an alternate agreement is not reached 2 hours prior to pickup deadlines the item(s) will be considered forfeiture and This That and The Other Thing will retain possession.
