An antique Suffragette pin, set with an approx. 5 ct. very dark slightly reddish purple oval amethyst, framed with white enamel, eight 2 mm, light green demantoid garnets and eight oval white seed pearls, set in (tested) 14kt yellow gold.
Created in the colors representing the movement. Purple represented royalty and "the instinct of freedom and dignity, white represented purity; and green represented hope and “the emblem of spring.
