Albert Paley is and American jewelry designer and sculptor who was a highly successful jewelry artist in 1974 when he won the Renwick Gallery’s national design competition and was awarded the commission to design decorative metalwork doors for the gallery shop. The monumental steel, bronze and copper doors earned Paley national recognition as a metalsmith of truly unique vision, leading to numerous commissions.
His works have been widely published and can be found in multiple major museum collections around the world..
