Set Of 6 George Ainley Windsor Chairs. Includes 2 Sack Back Arm Chairs and 4 Braced Bow Back Side Chairs. Each chair was handcrafted in the artist's workshop in Vermont and crafted using the same techniques as done in Philadelphia and Boston in the 18th Century. Painted in a blue antique distressed finish to reflect the wear these versatile chairs would have had in an early American household. Each chair is Signed & Dated (1985) under the seat by the artist. This set would cost $6200 if purchased from the artist today.
