19th C. Native American Cherokee Nation Beaded Pants

9th C. Native American Beaded Pants. Deerskin/Buckskin. Attributed to the Cherokee Nation. The pants have a button fly; there is one large pocket on each side of the upper area of the pants. The waist has spaced silver metal buttons with designs. The cuffs of the pants have a scalloped upper rim. There are beaded floral and leaf designs on the sides of the pants and on the wide area on each side of the button fly in colors of light and dark blue, white, black, yellow, red and green.

This is currently mounted to a canvas and board. The backing measures 30" x 38".

Approximate Measurements: 44" tall, 29" inseam, waist (as mounted) is 15" wide.
