The first with portraits of men and women, with Ballantine Books label on reverse titled "The Far Country" and pencil signed by artist Carl Cassler - this book by Nevil Shute was published by Ballantine Books in 1971 - 15 1/4" x 20"; the second with a portrait of an Air Force pilot and bombers - not signed but similar to the previous works - 15" x 20" - note that this illustration was the cover art for the Nevil Shute book titled "Pastoral" published by Ballantine Books in 1971.
