A: Yes. All items are sold as-is, where-is. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be accepted. Please review all descriptions and photos before bidding.
Q: What happens if I win an auction item?
A: You’ll receive an automated confirmation from Auction Ninja once payment is processed. Pickup instructions and times will be included in the listing.
Q: Where do I pick up my items?
A: All pickups take place at our Bridgehampton showroom unless otherwise noted. The pickup address and schedule appear in each auction listing.
Q: Can someone else pick up for me?
A: Yes. You may authorize another individual to pick up your item by emailing us their full name and phone number in advance. They must bring a valid photo ID.
Q: What if I can’t make the pickup window?
A: Contact us immediately before the end of the pickup window. Alternate arrangements may be approved and could incur a $25/day storage fee. Items left beyond 7 days without communication are forfeited without refund.
Q: Do you offer shipping?
A: Yes! We coordinate with The UPS Store for professional packing and shipping services.
Q: How does shipping work?
A: Once you’ve paid for your items, we can connect you directly with UPS for a shipping quote. All packing and shipping payments are made separately between you and UPS. HUB HOME assumes no responsibility once items are transferred to UPS.
Q: How do I consign items with HUB HOME?
A: Email info@hubhamptons.com with photos, descriptions, and estimated value of your items. Our team will review submissions and schedule drop-offs or white-glove pickup for approved consignments.
Q: What percentage do consignors receive?
A: Consignors typically receive 50% of the final sale price, depending on the item category and sales channel. Specialized or digital sales (such as online auctions) may include adjusted commission rates.
Q: Do you manage full estate sales?
A: Yes. HUB HOME provides turnkey estate liquidation services, including valuation, staging, photography, marketing, and sale management.
Q: Do you work with realtors, designers, or stagers?
A: Absolutely! We regularly collaborate with real estate agents, interior designers, and staging professionals to style listings and source decor.
Q: Are my payments secure?
A: Yes. All transactions are handled securely through Auction Ninja’s encrypted payment platform. HUB HOME never stores your payment information.
