The Jeep is currently being serviced, as it had set for a while. The fuel has been flushed, and a new distributor and a new fuel sender unit is currently being installed. Should be available to buyer in the next several days. When I walked in to the shop to get these new photos, the first thing the mechanic said was “That’s a nice Jeep” If you're looking for a great early ’70’s Jeep, this is good one for sure.



Answer to the FAQ's from interested parties:
The Jeep ran well when parked. It is currently in the shop, where they have flushed the fuel system and changed the distributor, and are currently installing a fuel sending unit (Which the mechanic thought should get it going). The title is clear. It is being sold "AS IS" not currently running, but with every effort to have it running by this weekend for pickup. The owner chose to have it taken to the shop because it had sat for a while and wanted to be able to give a clear and honest assessment to the best of our abilities. It is a little dusty inside, but this is a really nice jeep. Again, the customizer that the current owner bought it from says he put over $24,000 in customization work. Thanks and Happy Bidding!

“This jeep was professionally built and customized from the frame up. The entire jeep is customized from the bottom to the top. This jeep is a total road lovers dream. You can run it down the road for an afternoon in the sun or you can tackle the most rugged backwoods you can find. The frame of this jeep has been completely boxed in to reinforce it and has been powder coated. Over 95% of all the steel on this jeep has also been powder coated with a black glass texture. This jeep is beautiful and it is rugged. The engine is a late 2000 model 4.3 L Chevy motor with almost 20,000 miles on it. Since completing the customizations and rebuild I have only driven it less than 100 miles. The transmission is a factory jeep three speed. The jeep includes new functions such as a heating unit with a three speed blower (this was not available in the 74). There is also a ton of custom work that went into this jeep that you would be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. There is a custom made diamond plate toolbox (also powder coated) that was made for the front of the jeep and a 9000 pound winch – well big enough to pull yourself (or someone else) out of any jam. * Bumpers: steel tube (front) & Rock Hard Solid (rear) both front and rear have a receiver hitch. Custom welded side bars for easy entry and exit have been dura lined to be non-slip.

* Lighting: Hella off-road lighting system with four front spotlights and two rear. Tail lights are LED. Reverse lights are Mercedes-Benz bright white lights.

* Dual battery system: (custom using Optima dry cell) front and rear of jeep has been wired with 10 gauge quick connect power sources to illuminate the need to open the hood to get to direct battery power. Winch and jumper cables have been fitted with quick connect plugs to match.

* Fuel system: 15 gallon tank (with external pump for easy maintenance)

* Restraints & seating: Corbeau leather seats with Corbeau 03 point harnesses (front and rear)

* Interior: Darrel line (professionally sprayed by Dura Line), Grant steering wheel, tilt steering column

* Stereo: custom cassette player with pioneer amp and speakers with digital antenna

* Exterior: best top brand soft top with soft doors
