Map features British colonies in North America, along with New Foundland, New England, Virginia, Maryland, Carolina & Fla. Circa 1752. With descriptions in Latin and beautiful details of the featured states. Map is in generally good condition for its age with no apparent tears or repairs. Provenance of the Estate of Elisabeth Babcock of Woodbury, Long Island New York. Elisabeth Babcock was a first cousin of John D. Rockefeller, and her Gold Coast Mansion was featured in magazines and periodicals of the day. Please see photos for more details on condition. Map was professionally framed. Map measures 22” x 19”. Frame 29.5” x 26.25” The last 3 photos are of the Elisabeth Babcock residence and if you look closely, you can see the maps on the wall.
