Did not receive what was described. Received 3 items all the same thing, did not receive VHS/DVD combo, which is why I bid on this in the first place. BUMMER!!

I have bought items from Fairlight Estate Sales before and each time they are helpful, professional, and clearly know how to take care of business. Pick-up today was a mess but that was the location of the house and not Fairlight's fault. They had more than enough help and I was picking up a ton of items. They had multiple people helping and the entire process was very efficient.

Pick up window is too narrow. Without knowing exact location while bidding, location are further than I expected. A two hour window in Saturday traffic was too narrow.

This evening, I perused through several comments recounting negative experiences with Jorge and his family business. Allow me to address some of these accounts. As someone with over 50 years of auction addiction under my belt, I must challenge the validity of these grievances. While I do pine for the days of live auctions at physical locations, I recognize the need to adapt to the online model, thanks in part to entities like Fairlight who excel in their service.

Throughout my diverse career spanning from being an automobile repossession agent during my college days to becoming an attorney, landlord, and now a general contractor, I've encountered a spectrum of clientele satisfaction. Repossessing cars certainly doesn't win you any popularity contests, nor does practicing law where one often becomes the bearer of bad news. And as a landlord or general contractor, blame tends to fall squarely on your shoulders regardless of the circumstances.

With my breadth of experience and the humbling realization of my own ignorance, I feel sufficiently qualified to offer my perspective. To those dissatisfied clients who harbor an exaggerated sense of entitlement, I implore you to recalibrate your expectations. If you're not content with the level of service provided after purchasing items at a bargain, perhaps it's time to reconsider your shopping habits. My own mother's penchant for luxury knows no bounds, but I prefer a more modest approach, embracing the thrill of chance encounters and resourcefulness.

My involvement in over 10,000 auctions has taught me that success often outweighs disappointment, and those who incessantly complain about minor discrepancies in item descriptions or quality need to either adjust their mindset or exit the online auction scene altogether.

In my experience, Fairlight surpasses expectations, and any disparagement aimed at their staff or family members reflects poorly on the critic rather than the target.
