Extremely expensive shipping fee

EB Antiques LLC

We charge the exact cost required by USPS to ship your package. The only additional charge is the $8 handling fee to pull your item and package it, as well as transport it to the post office. After sending 2 of your 3 large lots of dishes (ordered without ever asking if it could be shipped). We called you to advise that the last lot would be extremely expensive to ship, even with us eating the handling costs per box as it was a 32 piece China dish set, that you paid $1 for. It's highly disappointing when people who without prior approval to do so purchase large lots, and then refuse to pay for the shipping that they are responsible for. This review is the exact reason why auctioneers refuse to ship items. Very disappointing that you would review a business with no context, and attempt to damage their reputation for your inability to understand that we don't control shipping rates nor profit in any way from providing a complementary service.

Should you NOT be able to pick up your items at your appointment, please contact us to make arrangements, or the items will be forfeited. Lots will not be broken up, and are sold AS IS. Shipping: Select lightweight items, smalls, jewelry, and other items that are small can be eligible for shipping. You are responsible for the shipping costs. Please do note there is a $10 fee per box for shipping transportation and packaging. If shipping costs are not paid, the item is then forfeited.
